SHAILA is a Swiss non-profit association founded on the belief that artificial intelligence and digital innovation have the power to fundamentally transform healthcare — for the better. Born out of a shared vision among healthcare professionals, technologists, and researchers, we exist to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and the hospitals, clinics, and primary care organisations that need it most.
From our home in Switzerland, we connect and empower healthcare organisations across Europe — fostering collaboration, accelerating the adoption of intelligent solutions, and building a community where knowledge flows freely. We believe that no organisation, regardless of size or resources, should be left behind in the digital transformation of health.

SHAILA was founded on 17 December 2025, a date that echoes a long tradition of structured thinking in medicine, and we carry that spirit forward into everything we do.
